Cannabis, often known as marijuana, is a psychoactive substance derived from the Cannabis plant. It is also known by other names such as weed, herb, pot, grass, bud, ganja, and Mary Jane. Cannabis sativa is an annual herbaceous flowering plant with a worldwide distribution because to extensive cultivation. It is native to Eastern Asia. Fiber hemp cultivars thrive in the 40-55° latitude range, but struggle in the semi-tropical and tropical zones. Seed crops, on the other hand, remove less potassium and more phosphorous from the soil, while medicinal crops have a high phosphorus demand.
